Dear Jens & Margaret:
In July, my family had the pleasure of staying at your Motel. It was not in our plans, it just happened. We had been traveling for a long, long day, with two toddlers and were exhausted.
The next morning, although the pool was not open, you graciously opened the pool for us, offered us the morning paper, provided a great breakfast and coffee, and offered us a late check out.
Thank you so much for your hospitality, flexibility and generosity. You made the rest of the day of travel much more tolerable. We do business a couple of times a year in Kansas, and now know where we will be stopping along the way.

We had the pleasure of staying one night during our H.S. class reunion in July '11. Very clean and restful atmosphere, comfortable beds. If you are a road weary traveler on I-70, I strongly suggest making the loop through the town of Oakley and spending the night at 1st Travel Inn. I'm sure you will find it a much quieter, more restful night than the national chain motels at the interstate exits.
